Specific departments have been given PRIORITY in scheduling - See below. These departments may schedule, through their Deans, ACC classroom/lab use in the Registrar's class schedule.
Rooms are to be reserved for hands-on interactive use only. Instructors will be present at all times to facilitate the learning process. Room reservations are to be cancelled as soon as possible when faculty cannot be present, so that all students can utilize the resources in the classroom labs.
Information and Technology Services, the Registrar's Office and University Scheduling have partnered to streamline the computer lab reservation process for the campus community. The request for Academic Computer Center labs will be incorporated into the regular classroom reservation process through the Registrar's Office. This will no longer require departments to submit a special request to ITS to determine the availability of a computer lab room on top of requesting the room from the Registrar's Office. Priority scheduling currently in place with existing computer labs will be handled through the Registrar's current priority scheduling process.
Requests to use computer labs for individual or short-term use, such as special trainings or orientation sessions, will use the same process as requesting any other room resource through University Scheduling. Computer lab requests directly relating to an academic class for Fall 2012 please contact karen.fluegge@mnsu.edu. Starting Spring 2013, requests for computer labs should be requested through your department so that they can submit the request using Course Input at https://secure.mnsu.edu/Courseinput/.
