To Successfully run the Gleim FAA software, the following must be met:

You MUST use Internet Explorer to correctly use this software.

If needed, MS HTML can be downloaded HERE

Directions for users ON CAMPUS using lab/classrooms/office computers.

To open the Gleim's FAA Test Prep software, follow these steps below.

1. Click here to start
2. Click Open
   
   
    
3. If you are running Windows XP you will be prompted to Run the file runprogram.vbs.  Click on the Run button.
   
   
    
   
4. By Default, the program is set to save the test files into your MavDISK folder (M:\My_Private_Files)
    

Directions for OFF CAMPUS users (ex. laptops & home computers)

**You MUST be authenticated to the MavNET wireless network, or have successfully authenticated with the MSU VPN client**
              If you have any authentication problems with MavNET or MSU VPN, call the MSU helpdesk at 389-6654

To open the Gleim's FAA Test Prep software, follow these steps below.

1. Click here to start
2. Click Run
   
   
    
   
3. A DOS windows will pop-up with an error, ignore this error and enter in your user credentials
   into the LOGON window, enter in CAMPUS\your username, then your password and click 'OK'
   
   
   
4. The program will run after you have successfully authenticated.
   
   
5. By Default, the program is set to save the test files into your 'My Documents' folder (file created is named spk.DTA)
